MS6115

MS6115 Mains Power Meter is an LCD inline power meter, rated to measure from 0.02A - 10A at 200VAC - 276VAC (roughly 4.8W - 2400W at 240VAC).

It is distributed in Australia by Electus Distribution Pty. Ltd. and sold at Jaycar Electronics.

Internals

Internally, the unit consists of:

• AS 3112 (Type I) plug and receptacle with split neutral
• power board (Capacitive Power Supply, neutral shunt link, some conditioning)
• LCD display board
• battery compartment for 2 x AG13 button cells (notionally 3VDC) for battery-backup of measurements

The two circuit boards are connected by a fixed 8-way ribbon cable. On the rear of the power board, the pins are labelled:

• +8V
• +5V
• 3V (directly connected to battery)
• GND
• V (divided down mains voltage)
• I
• IGND
• -8V
