Netbooting
Raspberry Pi 3B and 3B+ can be netbooted without the need for an SD card. The Pi 3B+ will attempt to netboot (DHCP, TFTP etc.) without any further configuration out of the box, whereas the Pi 3B requires a bit to be set in the boot ROM to enable network booting.
