XBee Shield

The SparkFun Electronics XBee Shield is an Arduino "shield" that supports an XBee module by providing regulated 3.3v power, the 20-pin 2mm-spacing connector sockets and interfaces for the RxD and TxD serial lines to be connected to the Arduino host. This shield also contains a 10x11 hole 2.54mm spacing prototyping area.
The inclusion of the prototyping area with the support for an XBee module makes this an ideal breakout for development of simple XBee-only applications as may be used in Home Automation (ie. no need for an Arduino).
